This game has the heart of the original 1914 but is so much better and has a lots of new aspects to it. Such an underrated game, I'm addicted to it.
This game is packed with action and there are no dull turns. There is something for each power to do and the whole board sees some action. The victory points make a ton of sense and really make each round count. Can't recommend more!
This game does for A&A 1914 what BBR does for Global 40. Essentially 12 teams to play for, the Chinese Civil War and the Russian Revolution, there's so much going on. Victory points and the technology make it more decisive and more fun!!! Japan is part of the Allies. The board comes to life with all the different colored sculpts. You can more easily see who is who and where...
Definitely an upgrade of 1914, sorta what BBR does for Global 40...
