South Vietnam is in a dire situation: with a lackluster military and constant Viet Cong raids, the only hope to repel the communists is with allied support. Will South Vietnam be able to hold out? Or will the Communists take control? Only time will tell…
Conflict of Arms: Vietnam 1965 is based on the Second Indochina War, a conflict in which the Republic of Vietnam, the Kingdom of Laos, the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, and the Cambodian Republic fought against the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Viet Cong, the Pathet Lao, and the Khmer Rouge to decide the ideological fate of Southeast Asia.

All of these forces are represented in this game in one way or another.

The Second Indochina War officially began in 1959, when the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese escalated their years-long skirmishes with the South into all-out war. The neighboring Laos, already mired in a bloody civil war between monarchists and the communist Pathet Lao, was drawn into the conflict over the communists’ alliance with the North. The United States, Australia, and New Zealand — whose goal was to prevent the spread of communism through their policy of “containment” — formally joined the conflict in 1965 on the side of the Republic of Vietnam. The war expanded a final time in 1970 to include the Republic of Cambodia on the side of the South and the Khmer Rouge on the side of the North.
The game supports 2 - 4 players. Each player will play as one of the major nations in the war.
Each game takes 10 - 15 hours. Game times vary based on available victory objectives.
Recommended age 14+.
